Black Sheep X Infamous Jean Claude X Dumskeme

The Dumskeme people collaborated with the Infamous Jean Claude person and the Black Sheep skate shoppe out of Charlotte, North Carolina to create the above t-shirt which I assume is available at the ‘Sheep. It looks dope!

Post22 “Film & Destroy”

No one ever really dies. North Carolina skateboard crew/website, Post22 has proven it time and time again. They have new equipment, a new site and another new site/blog/outlet in the works, Film & Destroy. F&D was made as ‘a way to highlight film making, art, and general skate culture’ without bogging Post22 with ‘weird side-project videos.’ I’m curious to see what comes from it.

Girl Skateboards – The Parallel

This promotional clip was originally released in 1994 to promote Girl Skateboards‘ first video release, Goldfish. It stars, whom appears to be, Lance Mountain as an pogo-sticker reminiscing about his relationship with pogo-sticking. I’m pretty sure Spike Jonze directed this piece.

Cesar Fernandez at Garvanza Park

Matt at Skate Stache filmed this clip of Stereo Skateboards‘ rider dude guy, Cesar Fernandez for Stereo’s website. They were feeling pretty gangster the day this was shot, thus the use of Pimp C’s music in the edit was deemed appropriate. More of Matt’s videos can be seen on his YouTube page.

Paul Rodriguez & Ice Cube – Today Was a Good Day (NikeSB Advertisment) (Video)

It’s been over 6 months since I last skateboarded. I miss the shit out of it and being too busy is a lame excuse for it too. Oh well. Earlier I was linked to this video for a Nike SB ad featuring Paul Rodriguez skateboarding in Los Angleles, California over Ice Cube‘s 1993 hit “It Was A Good Day.” The video has cameos from Theotis Beasley, legend Lance Mountain and Mr. Cube himself.

The album version of the song is 4 minutes and 20 seconds long. Chuuuuuch.
